Our Alumni from all over the world have inspirational stories to share. You’ll also learn how their exciting experiences and unique opportunities at BVIS and abroad have influenced their passion, career goals and personal lives.
Recently, we had the opportunity to reconnect with Khanh Giang, Class of 2023 alumna, who is currently pursuing a double major in Data Science and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), ranked 56th in the 2025 World University Rankings by The Times Higher Education.
With a strong academic foundation from the A-Levels program at BVIS, Khanh Giang was able to transfer 16 credits during her freshman year, providing her with a head start and optimising her study time in the United States.
Offering advice to current BVIS students aspiring to study in the U.S, Khanh Giang shared: “Always be open to embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and be courageous in stepping out of your comfort zone.”
Giang emphasised that UW-Madison not only provides an outstanding academic foundation but also offers students the chance to work in professional environments while studying. It is a place where she has been able to discover herself, enhance her professional skills, and experience life in a dynamic international environment.
In addition to striving for academic excellence, Khanh Giang actively participates in the university’s unique traditions, such as Jump Around and Terrace Evenings. She has also built a professional network through career events where she connects with alumni and industry experts. Moreover, Giang continuously hones her professional skills by engaging in hands-on opportunities such as career treks and case competitions.
