FAQs

  • What is the purpose of the Application fee?
The Application Fee includes the administrative expenses of the entrance assessment process carried out by BVIS teachers. We receive numerous enrollment inquiries each year, so completing this fee will help the school better understand the demand for your child's education at BVIS from your family.
  • How long does the admissions process to take?
The time from when parents start contacting the Admissions Department until BVIS sends the enrollment invitation to the family will not exceed 2 weeks. This depends on the enrollment decision made by the parents.
  • What is the purpose of paying the Deposit Fee?
Prestigious international schools recruit teaching staff directly from abroad, involving a time-consuming and costly process. This procedure starts in January each year, and the school requires an initial financial investment to ensure that qualified teachers will work formally afterward. Therefore, we need families to confirm their students' continuation for the next academic year through a deposit communicated 90 days in advance. This deposit fee is intended to offset a portion of the additional recruitment costs for new teachers in the event that students leave the school without prior notice or with delayed notice. The application of a deposit fee is a common practice and is accepted in international schools worldwide.

  • What is the policy of withdrawal and refund of fees?

If a child withdraws from the school during the academic year, the following refund policy will apply:

    • It is the parents’ responsibility to complete the school’s standard Withdrawal Notification Form and to submit it to the Admissions office at least 90 calendar days prior to the child’s last day at school. When the child leaves at the end of any term, the 90 day period shall be counted up to the last school day of that term only. This will ensure the refund policy is applied and school reports are issued.
    • The school will not refund any portion of Term Tuition Fees or Late Enrolment Fees.
    • The school will refund a percentage of the Annual Tuition Fee based on the date of the last day at school.
