"It is good to see that all the teachers look very enthusiastic and energetic when they teach." - John Kim, CEO of Reading Star and member of AMP
"This is the educational path that Korea is also aiming to change into, and I'm happy to see it in action." - Professor C.J. Yang
"I would like to learn at a school with such good facilities if I were a bit younger." - another member of AMP
Those were some incredibly positive remarks from Professor Yang and approximately 25 members of the Advanced Management Programme (AMP) at Korea University Graduate School of Education during their short visit to Vietnam on Jan 11 to learn about our unique education system.
Korea University, often known as the "K" in SKY universities, is one of the top three universities in Korea alongside Seoul National University and Yonsei University. Introducing the Advanced Management Programme, started in 2000, it is the first education management programme opened in graduate school in Korea, and it has produced 600 leaders in the field of education management so far.
Mr. Toby Bate, Secondary Headteacher, and Ms. Dung, College & University Guidance Counsellor, talked to them about BVIS HCMC as part of the prestigious
Nord Anglia Education and how our
IGCSE and
International A Level Curriculum are well equipped our students with excellent academic results each year which open their pathway to top universities worldwide, and AMP members had a chance to learn more about our school through the tour.
Many of them were surprised by the size of our facilities and students and compared us with some of the best private and/or international schools in Korea.
The BVIS community extends its gratitude to the AMP members for dedicating their valuable time to visit our school!
