To earn the opportunity to attend this conference, BQ excelled in her individual project for the "Hack the Tube" competition, competing against students from all Nord Anglia Education member schools worldwide.
Drawing inspiration from the song "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," she proposed the idea of constructing a retractable bridge using sturdy materials that could flex when needed. Her creative and well-invested project successfully convinced the conference organizers during the final selection round, following a rigorous and demanding evaluation process.
BQ is eagerly looking forward to visiting MIT, the top technology institution in the United States, alongside other outstanding international student representatives from October 30th to November 3rd, 2023!
Congratulations to BQ, and let's await exciting updates from her on the upcoming fantastic journey!
*Nord Anglia Education collaborates with MIT to introduce your children to an innovative way of learning the STEAM subjects, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and teaching the students how to apply their skills to real-life situations.
A selection of Nord Anglia students visits MIT every year to immerse the children in STEAM learning. They meet prominent MIT scientists, build and experiment in workshops, and learn about new discoveries that will shape their future.
