On Tuesday we hosted the ‘Primary Speech and Poetry Competition Final’ with 14 finalists ranging from Year 3 to Year 6.
Year 3 and 4 children focused on poetry recitals and Year 5 and 6 students focused on their own creative and innovative speeches. The evening was filled with talent and left the whole audience simply amazed by the children’s efforts and abilities to speak so confidently and eloquently.
Congratulations to all our finalists, particularly to our winners – Minh Triet and Zen in the Year 3 & 4 Poetry Competition and Lam Giang and Hoai Anh in the Year 5 & 6 Speech Competition.
If your child did not enter the competition this time, then there is always next year to encourage them to do so. The process is such a valuable experience for all children, whether they get to enter the first round, reach the semi-finals or even the finals, we know that such practice helps children to develop their communication skills for now and the future.
