Basketball Wins On Sunday 21st November, BST Lion Cubs travelled to TIS to take part in the Boys and Girls Primary Basketball Tournament. A long day of basketball saw both teams grow in confidence, teamwork and skill. 

On Sunday 21st November, BST Lion Cubs travelled to TIS to take part in the Boys and Girls Primary Basketball Tournament. A long day of basketball saw both teams grow in confidence, teamwork and skill. 

The Girls’ team started the day slow with two losses but were growing in ability each game, their efforts finally paid off with an impressive team display in their final game with a well deserved win. Special mention goes to Samina for her constant searching for shots, Diana for her amazing defence and finding great space with the ball. 

The Boys’ team started fast and never looked back. They supported each other well (helped with a great chant by the girls in their final game) and played as a solid team. They completed the day undefeated winning all of their games! Special mention goes to Arush for his total game play and Ismoil for his composure under pressure on the shot!

A big thank you to their coaches, Mr Chris Piddock and Mr Tom Masheter for coaching and guiding them. And a big thank you to all the supporting parents that came to cheer our Lions teams! Let’s go Lions!
