Exemplary Exam Results for BST Students

Exam Results

Students studying at The British School of Tashkent have once again performed significantly above the UK average.

At A Level, a total of 83 exams were taken with 41% of students achieved an A* or A, far surpassing the UK average of 28%. Several students achieved remarkable individual results. Year 13 student Tigran earned four A* grades, while Manmayee, also in Year 13, achieved one A* grade and three A grades, placing them among the top achievers globally.

Many students will be continuing their academic journeys at some of the world's leading universities, including The University of Bristol (UK), UCL (UK), Arizona State University (USA), and The University of Malaya Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), among others.

THE GOLD STANDARD OF A BRITISH EDUCATION

At IGCSE level, taken in Year 11, 90% of all grades were A* to C, and 73% of students achieved at least one A or A*. This success allows many students to specialise in their chosen subjects at A Level, considered the gold standard and one of the hallmarks of a British education.

Year 11 students also achieved outstanding results. Notably, Chaewon earned eight A* grades, Neve achieved six A* grades and one A, and Ardzhun secured four A* grades and three A grades.

Dr. Andre Nel is the Principal at The British School of Tashkent and commented, “As a school, we are extremely proud of all our students and their results. I want to congratulate each one of them and wish them all the best for whatever they plan to do next, whether it is starting with an A Level course or going off to university. I also want to thank all the dedicated teachers who helped and supported all our students.”
