Welcome to EYFS!

Greetings and a warm welcome to all our families with children in the Early Years Department at the British school of Tashkent!

We are so excited for our little ones to return and also to welcome all our new families who will be joining us for the first time.  We hope to welcome you back on campus very soon to continue your learning journey with us.

We are also ready to continue our Virtual Learning journey using our Seesaw Platform as we have been doing since the lock down started.  Teachers have been doing what teachers do - they have already started planning and preparing the most exciting learning adventures and discovery journeys for our little pupils.

During the next couple of weeks, we will be taking time to familiarize every family with our schedules and routines and provide all the necessary information for you to start this learning journey with us.  We are busy preparing to be ready for all the possible scenarios – virtually, face-to-face or a combination of both. Our lovely Sayram Campus we will be ready for an exciting start.

Many of the little ones joining this year have never been to school and are leaving the “nest” for the first time.  We want to reassure every family that it will be a smooth transition.  Your little one will have a gentle; nurturing start.  Congratulations to our clever little ones that are moving on to their next classes, after completing the previous academic year at BST. All your new teachers are excited to meet you!

The British school of Tashkent is proud to continue our learning using The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. We are committed to ensure that children learn and develop well and are most of all kept healthy and safe. EYFS promotes teaching and learning through play and also ensures children’s “school readiness”.    This happens while focusing our learning discoveries on the seven areas of development.  It gives your child the advantage of developing and acquiring a broad range of knowledge and skills, which will provide the right foundation for their educational journey ahead.  This will ensure good progress through school and life.
Though I am very experienced working EYFS and education it is also a new journey that will start for me at BTS and I am delighted to join the team.  I hope to meet every parent and little one soon.  Please keep your eyes open for the log-in details for Seesaw so we can get started with our learning journey.
