Simon Head Message
Week 17, Term 1, 2024/2025
As we bring Term 1 to a close, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on the incredible journey our children have embarked upon this term.

Every day, I am inspired by their determination, growth, and enthusiasm for learning. From mastering new skills in the classroom to representing the school with pride in sports and CCAs, your children have shown resilience, ambition, and kindness, values at the very heart of our BSKL community.

This term, we have witnessed so many achievements. Whether it was settling into new routines, making new friends, exploring creative talents, or excelling academically, every child has worked hard and made progress in their own unique way. Their effort and perseverance have been remarkable, and they should feel proud of what they have accomplished.

As we head into the holidays, I encourage our families and staff to take this opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend quality time together. The holiday season is a time to reflect on what matters most family, friendships, and personal growth. It is also a time to celebrate how far we’ve come and to prepare ourselves for the exciting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in Term 2.

Our school values of taking risks, acting with integrity, being ambitious, being kind, striving for happiness, and building resilience serve as a guiding light for all that we do. I hope these values resonate with your families over the holiday period as we continue to nurture children who thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and support throughout this term. On behalf of everyone at BSKL, I wish you and your families a joyful and restful holiday. For those traveling, we wish you safe journeys and look forward to welcoming you back in January, ready for another exciting term of learning and growth.

Warm regards,
