The writers were given two different topics to write about:

English Writing Option 2

Every year, several languages die out. Somepeople think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this options? (From: International English Language Testing System)

Hui Ern (Lena) emerged as a standout, winning the Gold Award and being named the Overall Champion in the Junior Secondary Category. Her essay for English Writing Option 2, discussing the importance of preserving endangered languages, was recognized for its deep analysis and well-argued points. Hui Ern's work highlighted her commitment to cultural diversity and linguistic heritage. Yao Sern and Wern Xin, both competed in the Senior Secondary Category, also achieved Gold Awards. Yao Sern's entry for English Writing Option 1, where he delivered a speech as the captain of a basketball team that finished second in the inter-school championship, captured the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Wern Xin's essay on endangered languages provided a compelling perspective on why language preservation remains crucial, making her a deserving Gold Award winner.

His ability to motivate and inspire through his writing was evident. In the Senior Primary Category, Kenz Zo earned the Silver Award for his essay on sports communication. His essay showed an impressive grasp of sportsmanship and teamwork, especially for his age. Kenz Zo's dedication to crafting a meaningful message came through in his writing, demonstrating his growth as a writer and his potential for future success in such competitions.
