We have carefully reviewed all the responses, and we are pleased to share that your feedback has highlighted several areas of strength, including our commitment to student wellbeing and the quality of our teaching staff. Additionally, you have helped us identify key areas for improvement, particularly in regards to communication and facilities issues.
The main focus for this response document is to provide parents with more detailed insight into the workings of the secondary school. It was clear from the feedback that there are many parents who want to understand the why and the how of the way the school operates. In view of this, we have collected relevant responses from staff members who are leaders in areas that several parents were curious about. These responses are provided below and are organised into titled sections. We hope you find the content useful and informative.
Your partnership is vital in making our school a supportive, thriving community, and we are deeply grateful for your contributions. We will keep you informed as we implement improvements, and we look forward to continuing our dialogue with you in Term 2. The check in focus for Term 2 will be the PTC system. We look forward to your input on this.

A note from Dr O’Connor:
Thank you for the feedback you have provided in the first Secondary school survey for this year. There are some definite themes that have emerged and I assure you that the Secondary school team and our Heads of Administrative functions take the feedback seriously and are constantly working on plans to improve and enhance student experience. Please ensure you have read my recent newsletter which detailed some plans to improve bus travel experience and also some traffic enhancements. A new school Communication Policy will soon be launched to clarify how we communicate with families, and how you communicate with us. We shall also continue to update you on plans and always encourage you to share your feedback throughout the year.
