On Wednesday, 12th June, Year 7 EAL students took to the stage to perform a drama showcase for their peers in other year groups. The students worked in groups to rehearse and perform short dramatic scenes, showcasing their acting talents. The performances were filled with excellent acting skills and plenty of moments of comedy, highlighting the students' growing confidence using English.
The theme and scripts for the showcase were created by our Year 9 EAL students, who were also in the audience to support the younger students. This highlights the creative, multi-skill, and collaborative-based learning approach that is central to our EAL programme.
Well done to all the students involved for their hard work and impressive performances, and to the EAL team for supporting this learning activity!
