Musicians from across Nord Anglia Education compete annually in a Young Musician of the Year competition. Each student must submit a video of themselves performing a solo on their instrument. These videos are then judged by NAE Music staff around the world, and the top three from each category are recognised. This year, many BSKL students took up the challenge, with Mr Merino submitting their videos online back in February.
Hundreds of students entered the 17 categories, and I'm pleased to announce that this year we won prizes in 13, with 5 of those places being winners slots. We are so pleased with all our students and the exceptionally high standards that they constantly perform at.
The winning performances are currently featured on Global Campus, and we are also celebrating our students in school with many performances happening in classes and assemblies.
