One of the best things about attending an international school is the diverse and vibrant community you are a part of.
Year 5 experienced this first hand this week when our students interviewed some members of our school community to find out about their experiences of immigrating. Through careful questioning the year 5 students uncovered stories of month long boat trips to Singapore, the challenges of learning a new language, an unfamiliar culture and what gives us our sense of home. We are very grateful to all our BSKL families who engaged with our learning this week by volunteering to be interviewed.
Secondary school parents and students celebrated the achievements of BSKL students at the 2nd annual Empowered to Succeed Awards on 12 June at the Le Meridien Hotel.
The Secondary Well-being room, once underutilised and often misused, has undergone a remarkable transformation into a dedicated learning support sensory room, marking a significant milestone in the school's commitment to inclusive education.
