Our team demonstrated outstanding dedication and talent, competing against a tough field of government, private, and international schools in Selangor.
Overall, BSKL swimmers secured an impressive medal haul, earning 1 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze medals in total. This success showcases the hard work and determination that our athletes put into their training and preparation for the state-level swim meet.
We would like to recognise the remarkable individual performances of our star swimmer, Kaylee, who secured an astonishing 1 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals in her individual events. Kaylee's achievements are truly commendable and reflect her exceptional skill and determination in the pool.
We also want to highlight Joshua's impressive achievement, winning a silver medal in the 200m Breaststroke. Joshua's dedication and perseverance in competing against older and more experienced swimmers is truly inspiring.
In the team relay events, our young athletes demonstrated incredible teamwork and skill. The Under 12 girls, Madeline, Kayla, Kate and Kristen, secured second place in the Freestyle relay, while the Under 15 Boys, Simon, Joshua, Paxton, Cayleb and Sean, achieved second place in the Freestyle relay and third place in the Medley relay. Additionally, the Under 15 Girls, Kaylee, Paris, Sofia and Sarah, showcased their talent by securing third place in the Freestyle relay. Our Under 12 and Under 18 boys also put on impressive performances, coming close to the podium and achieving top 5 positions in both the Freestyle and Medley relays.
Furthermore, we would like to extend our appreciation to all the swimmers who achieved personal best times during the competition. Ryan, Zhi Shan, Scott, Yao Sern, Joshua, Ian, Quinton, Jonathan, and Kristen all pushed their limits and achieved fantastic results.
None of this success would have been possible without the unwavering support and encouragement from our amazing parents. Your dedication to cheering for the team and supporting their training sessions throughout the summer break has been invaluable.
