NAE Young Musician of the Year Winners

NAE Young Musicians
NAE Young Musician of the Year Winners
In November Nord Anglia Education launched the 2023 Young Musician of the Year competition across it's 82 schools receiving 1226 entries!

Students were asked to play their best piece and send a recording in to Global Campus.  There were many different categories that were judged, not only just within instrument families String, Brass, Woodwind, Percussion but these were then split into further categories of popular & classical with voice also having a musical theatre entry available too.

Our school, known for its music across the NAE group, submitted 50 entries from across both our primary and secondary school covering almost every category.  Our musicians were fantastic and all received a Global Campus award for taking part.

The entries closed in February and we have been anxiously awaiting the judges decisions.  This morning we received some fantastic news that 7 of our students had been judged to be among with best with 5 students receiving Honourable Mentions (equivalent to 2nd & 3rd places) and 2 of our students actually winning their classes outright!
