The day began with an assembly titled “How to Survive Sixth Form”, delivered by Mr Milliner, the Head of Sixth Form, and full of advice and practical tips from our current Year 12 and Year 13 students.
The rest of the day was spent sampling a range of subjects. Year 11 students chose from a broad offering of subjects they are familiar with, such as Further Maths, English Literature, Biology and Geography, and brand new subjects, including Psychology, Media Studies and the Extended Project Qualification.
Psychology was the most popular subject of the day - students enjoyed taking part in practical experiments and discussing their findings, giving them a taste of what the course has to offer. It was great to see active participation in activities and great enthusiasm about A-levels throughout the day!
The deadline for submitting A-level options is Monday 13th February. You may find the form here.
