Collaborative Parenting Group A Huge Success
A group of Early Years and Key Stage One Parents embarked on a journey together as part of our Parent Partnership Series. Mrs Emily Clark, Head of Reception and mother of 2 Primary aged children at BSKL, led the group of 14 parents through a series of 4 sessions focusing on how parenting can be difficult and how to make your way through some of the challenges and difficulties that you can face as a parent. The study group used the book 'Peaceful Parents, Happy Kids: How to Stop Yelling and Start Connecting' by Dr. Laura Markham to facilitate their discussions.

On Saturday 18th February, sixty four of our secondary athletes travelled to Alice Smith International School to compete in the AIMS Secondary Track and Field 2022/23. This was the first time the competition had been held for over three years. The BSKL Lions were keen to put the months of training and preparation into action against nine other International Schools from around the region.

Being the first international swimming competition since the 2019 edition, that was held at the same venue of Bangkok Patana School (BPS), the hype of representing The British International School of Kuala Lumpur (BSKL) was abuzz for months in preparation leading up to this prestigious event. With the absence of British Schools from China, BSKL competed against 22 other schools for top honours.
