With 8 years of experience, she has worked as both an EAL teacher and Head of Year in Beijing and Xiamen, China. Zona's educational background includes an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Sunderland, and an MA in Translating and Interpreting from the University of Newcastle. She has also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education International (PGCEi) from the University of Nottingham.
