With over 20 years of teaching experience, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as an educator. Beginning her career in UK comprehensive schools, Michelle honed her skills for 15 years before embarking on an exciting international teaching journey in China. Michelle holds a degree in PE teaching, alongside qualified teacher status (QTS), from the University of Chichester.
Having already worked in both primary and secondary levels at BSG, Michelle has gained valuable insights into the workings of different phases across the school. Her versatile experience allows her to contribute effectively to various areas of school life. Previously leading the PE department, Michelle now takes charge of Community Partnership, Social Impact, and Global Campus initiatives at both the school and NAE Regional level.
Driven by her passion for cultivating lifelong learners and Global Citizens, Michelle is determined to offer a plethora of opportunities and experiences to the students at BSG. She strives to foster an environment where students can develop essential skills and thrive as individuals within the global community.
Outside of her professional life, Michelle actively engages with local community groups, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the school gates. To maintain an active lifestyle, you may spot Michelle embarking on her weekly Sunday morning walks around the city. Michelle's dedication extends to her personal life, as she is a proud parent of two young children who are about to embark on their Early Years journey at BSG. This connection to the school community further reinforces her commitment to ensuring the highest quality education for all students.
