Melissa is a caring and collaborative teacher who has been dedicated to promoting wellbeing among her colleagues and the wider school community. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Stellenbosch, specializing in Foundation Phase teaching. With over 10 years of teaching experience in both South Africa and China, Melissa has become a respected figure in education.
Since 2022, Melissa has been an integral part of BSG Early Years. Her journey in international education began in 2017 when she moved to Guangzhou with her husband. Since then, she has worked at various international schools across the city. Melissa’s personal life is filled with love and joy, sharing it with her husband, their son and daughter, and their beloved toy poodle. Outside the classroom, Melissa loves spending quality time with her family and friends, cooking, and traveling.
