Julia embarked on her educational voyage at Beijing Language and Culture University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Fueling her passion, she then pursued advanced studies at the Communication University of China, attaining a Master's degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. With a wealth of experience to her credit, Julia stands as a distinguished Chinese educator. She boasts dual teaching credentials catering to both Chinese and foreign students: a High School Chinese Teacher Certificate bestowed by the Bureau of Education of Guangzhou Municipality and the esteemed Certificate of Qualification of Senior Chinese Language Teacher, awarded by the International Profession Association.
Julia's teaching journey spans over a remarkable 15 years, embracing classrooms across China and international locales. Since 2014, she has been an instrumental figure at BSG, wholeheartedly dedicating herself to the craft. Her pursuit of excellence is ceaseless, constantly honing her pedagogical prowess and embracing continuous professional growth. Within the BSG community, Julia has assumed a series of impactful roles, ascending from her positions as Chinese CAL Coordinator, Secondary Chinese Curriculum Coordinator, to ultimately spearheading the Secondary Chinese department as Head.
Julia's teaching philosophy is centered around valuing each student's individuality and embracing various learning paths. She supports their personal growth and ongoing progress. Outside of teaching, Julia takes comfort in learning new computer skills, exploring faraway places, enjoying movies, and indulging in diverse and delicious foods.
