Frederick brings 17 years of experience as an art teacher in international schools in Nairobi and Seychelles to his new role in the British School of Guangzhou. Having previously worked in two other schools in China, BSG marks his third school in the country. Fredrick is thrilled to be part of such a diverse and progressive community.
An artist and art teacher, Fredrick possesses a deep passion for exploring innovative techniques and materials, with a particular interest in sculpting and multimedia. His enthusiasm lies in sharing his knowledge and encouraging his students to develop their unique artistic voice.
In addition to fostering creativity, collaboration, and a love of learning, Fredrick highly values working in collaboration with his colleagues. He intends to create a collegial environment that supports and nourishes these qualities. Understanding that art education extends beyond technical skills, Fredrick actively encourages his students to think creatively.
Outside of his professional life, Fredrick enjoys spending time outdoors. He is an avid cyclist and fitness enthusiast.
