We Did It Again: BSG International Day: A Community Celebration All For a Great Cause!

Despite the chilly weather, BGS’s International Day fundraising event last Saturday was a huge success, attracting over 2500 visitors from across our school community! With 80 colourful and engaging booths representing more than 30 countries, Australia to Zimbabwe, Brazil to Qatar, Italy to China and beyond, the event was a true celebration of diversity and unity.

 

BSG’s stunning school grounds were the perfect setting for international displays featuring art, fashion, food, games and famous icons provided by parent volunteers and BSG staff. To add to the festival feel, the stage performances throughout the day included African rhythms and Indian dances, Latin Samba, traditional Chinese drummers, classical orchestra pieces and some good old Rock n Roll and much, much more.

 

 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors who made this event possible, all others whose support contributed to our success. Your generosity has made a significant impact on our community, and we are profoundly grateful.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our parents and the generosity of sponsors, we are thrilled to announce that we raised a staggering amount of RMB148,094 for our two chosen charities, Guangzhou Gold Ribbon and Huiling School. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the power of collective effort and the impact we can make when we unite for a common cause.
