Term Two Academy Teachers

We are coming to the end of Term Two’s Academies.

There have been some incredible activities and learning opportunities for our students in these sessions.

We have been lucky to have our outstanding teachers leading these activities.

Mr. Frijling has been leading one of our Science Academies and the Basketball Academy.

Mr. Frijling is from The Netherlands, a small village called Zwolle. He teaches general science and chemistry in our secondary school. This is an area that allows students the opportunity to think critically, develop reasoning and problem-solving skills for life. This is reflected in the sessions Mr. Frijling runs in his Science Club Academy. Students, who are interested in science, have been diving into some extraordinary experiments to better understand the world around them. They have been looking closely at life systems of animals and plants. Investigating mass and forces by carrying out physics experiments.
