Student Leaders Take Over

The ‘student leaders take-over of Secondary’ resulted in me handing over my Head of Secondary job and my office, to George He and Rolan Mok for the day.  They started the day on duty, meeting and greeting all students at the Hillside stairs, they invited students into my office to share their suggestions, also spending time mixing and communicating with students, finally having a school improvement meeting with Mr Richardson at 2pm.  My office looked very different to how it usually looks, with the blinds closed, music on and lollipops available for students who made suggestions!

Secondary staff arrived at the office and presented Mr He and Ms Mok with scenarios to deal with, which they did with great aplomb, although they did sign off on a $2million telescope!!!!

I know George and Rolan enjoyed the experience yesterday, so I hope students can look forward to more opportunities like this is the future, but for now,  I have taken back control of my office!
