| In Early Years, the Nursery A Penguins are reading ‘Anna Hibiscus’ Song’ as our core text. It is about family and what makes you feel happy. Our students each got a chance to come to the front and present their family to the class. It was wonderful to see how excited they were to talk about their different family members. Each student also made beautiful family photo frame crafts using lollipop sticks decorated with sequins, glitter, and stickers. We created a family wall in the classroom where students could display their family photos and talk about their families with their classmates. These types of activities encourage positive interactions and community in our classroom as well as building vocabulary and confidence speaking English. |
Community partnership parents were ready to support the goodie bag sale today at Early Years and South Lake campus. Students brought in 20RMB to buy a bag to support Hopeful Hearts.
