Year 1 Update

This week in Year 1, we started our new unit which focuses on history. The students were very excited when we discovered an old chest in one of the storage rooms. The Year 1’s began to predict what they thought might be inside the chest. Some said that they think there are books inside the chest, others wondered whether it was filled with a secret treasure. One student was convinced there was a monster inside! The students could not contain their excitement and had to open the chest…to find old toys inside. They discovered that the toys were made from wood, tin or fabric. Toys sure have changed a lot!
