Over the past two weeks, students have experienced an enriching and diverse summer school programme at BSG, that has proven to be a resounding success.

At The British School of Guangzhou, we follow The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. It is a comprehensive framework in the UK that sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth to five years old.

We are thrilled to share the outstanding success of our Reception students at BSG in their recent Cambridge CEM assessment, especially in mathematics.

The British School of Guangzhou celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2024 with a spectacular ceremony on 20 June at Guangzhou’s Four Seasons Hotel.

Guangzhou, 17 June 2024 — As part of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), one of the world’s leading international schools groups, The British School of Guanghzhou proud to have Genevieve, Sora and Nica attending this year’s NAE-UNICEF Student Summit, hosted for the first time ever in Houston, Texas from 12 to 19 June 2024.

On Wednesday 29th May, 23 students (5 Year 5’s and 18 Year 6’s) and 3 staff made their way to Baiyun Airport, excited and ready for the U11’s FOBISIA Games in Thailand.

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our Class of 2024! Each student has received various offers from top universities across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and worldwide, making us incredibly proud. Well done, Class of 2024!

From the 16th to the 20th of May, the British School Guangzhou had the incredible opportunity to participate in this year’s FOBISIA Intermediate Choir and Orchestral Festival held at the British School Jakarta.

It is with great pride and joy that we celebrate the outstanding success of our Primary Production cast, who enchanted audiences last week with Disney’s The Lion King KIDS. Simba’s iconic journey through the African savanna was vividly brought to life on stage by our talented young performers.

On Wednesday 17th April, BSG held the second Nord Anglia Chess Tournament, inviting schools from around Guangzhou to compete against each other.

This term, Year 6 children participated in the Juilliard Film Music Competition 2024 for their end of year composition project.

At BSG, we are dedicated to providing top quality educational experiences for our students. LAMDA, which stands for London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, is a unique ASA offered to BSG students, with the option of paying to take an exam at the end of the program and earning a LAMDA qualification.

At BSG, we pride ourselves on offering an exemplary education that prepares our students for academic success and for lifelong learning and critical thinking.

The 7^th March marked a day of celebration as students at the British School of Guangzhou (BSG) awaited their January external examination Advanced Level module results in subjects as diverse as Biology to Further Maths.

There has been a buzz about books at BSG this week as we have held our annual Book Week across our campuses. It has been fantastic to celebrate our love of reading throughout the week by engaging in activities such as storytelling and exploring new books, allowing our imagination to wonder to far off lands.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our parents and the generosity of sponsors, we are thrilled to announce that we raised a staggering amount of RMB148,094 for our two chosen charities, Guangzhou Gold Ribbon and Huiling School. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the power of collective effort and the impact we can make when we unite for a common cause.
