2025 Step Up Day - Year 6 Students Get a Taste of Secondary

BSB Shunyi recently hosted an exciting Step Up Day for Year 6 students from both the BSB Sanlitun and Shunyi campuses, giving them a glimpse into the engaging and dynamic learning experiences that await them in Year 7 here.

Throughout the day, students rotated through different subject activities—Art, Mathematics, Design Technology, Science, and Physical Education—each designed to showcase the stimulating challenges and opportunities of secondary school life. Whether experimenting in the science lab, tackling mathematical puzzles, getting creative in art, exploring technology and design, or staying active in PE, the students were fully immersed in the experience.

Beyond the lessons, the event fostered new friendships as students from both campuses worked together and supported one another. The day concluded on a high note with an awards ceremony, recognizing students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork.

The transition to Secondary is an ongoing process throughout the year. Students are well supported by our teachers and excellent pastoral care system. Parents are welcome to contact us anytime for support.
