5th Annual Young Entrepreneur Competition at BSB Great results from our Year 10 Business Studies students! Other schools that participated were Harrow International School & British International School Shanghai Puxi. Please see the prize winners' names & photos.

On Wednesday 13^th May 2015, The British School of Beijing (BSB), Shunyi hosted the 5^th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition (YEC) and participated in the event together with Harrow International School and The British International School Shanghai, Puxi.

Over the last three months, Year 10 Business Studies students have been undertaking their major marketing project. Part of this project is to conduct market research to see if their products or services are feasible. Once strong market research was collected, the students would then develop their products or services. This involves designing a pricing strategy, marketing campaign based on a TV commercial, posters and then they would present a 5 minute pitch to try and gain funding for their projects from entrepreneurs in Beijing.

37 Business Studies students from BSB participated in this competition and performed very well. Most groups won a trophy or an honorable mention from the judging panel of entrepreneurs on the day. Please see the full list of prize winners below from the competition.

Mr. Mounter and Mr. Miller would like to congratulate all students who participated in the 5th Annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition. They have worked extremely hard on their projects and we look forward to participating in the project next year.
