Year 3 Residential - Reaching New Heights!

Year 3 Residential - Reaching New Heights! | BSB Sanlitun - Year 3 Residential

Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.

One of the biggest highlights was the High Ropes Zip Line Course—a thrilling challenge that had everyone soaring through the air with courage and confidence. From nervous first steps to triumphant landings, the children showed determination and cheered each other on every step of the way. Most of the adults completed the course too!

Teamwork made the dream work during the Sky Tower activities. These team building challenges were all about communication, collaboration, and support—and Year 3 absolutely smashed it! It was inspiring to watch the children problem-solve together and encourage one another, as they built the highest tower they could.

The children got creative and hands-on with some brilliant workshops. They kneaded, shaped, and baked their own bread, taking pride in their delicious, homemade creations. Then it was time to shoot for the stars with some rocket building—designing and launching rockets that wowed everyone with their power.

The residential was more than just activities—it was an opportunity for the children to grow in independence, build new friendships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. The laughter, support, and sense of adventure filled every moment, and we couldn't be prouder of how everyone got stuck in and gave their best.
A massive thank you to all the staff and helpers who made the week possible—and to our fantastic Year 3s for making it such a success!
