Our Year 1 students had an amazing school trip to the World Park, just in time for our International Week! We saw miniature buildings from all around the world, including the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and the Pyramids in Egypt - just to mention a few.
The children went on a journey around the globe, exploring fascinating buildings and landmarks from various cultures. We talked about the architecture of each structure and named the countries they were from. The children also got to go on an exciting building scavenger hunt - they did a wonderful job identifying the big structures at the park.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our young explorers to broaden their horizons, foster global awareness, and celebrate diversity.

Year 4 recently embarked on a thought-provoking unit of work, stepping into the shoes of Rainforest Detectives to solve a serious environmental mystery, in the hope of changing the future of the rainforest.
Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do, and it extends far beyond literacy. It is transdisciplinary, meaning children naturally integrate their knowledge of phonics into storytelling, create maths stories, and weave in elements of science, curiosity, and their understanding of the world.
