Reception children talked about the topic of Dinosaur. Children learned more about dinosaurs like how big they were, what they ate and if they could run fast or not. They sang songs and chants about different dinosaurs. They also used playdough to make dinosaurs.
In Year 1 (native group), students learned some new Chinese characters. They practised writing those characters in various interesting ways - some used Lego spelling, some wrote with strips of paper, and some wrote on their whiteboards.
In Year 2 (native group), students studied an interesting text “Gudong”. They learned new vocabulary, read the text aloud and did role play to act it out.
In Year 3 (native group), students learned the text about friendship. We discussed what friendship is and how we would handle it if we encounter conflicts. We also did various activities to review and consolidate the key words in this text.
