Before Chinese New Year the Year 6 students explored Pre-Historic Artwork. We examined the methods and styles that the people of that time used and why they might have created such unique artwork.

In the pictures you can see the students are using the techniques used by pre-historic artists to depict images from the past, present and future. This was a large scaled collaborative project that had several students all working together on huge canvases.

Odd Socks Day

This week is Anti-Bullying Week at BSB Sanlitun. As part of the week our students undertook a number of activities in class, one of the events this week is Odd Socks Day! We had lots of fun on this special day and we loved seeing everyone’s different socks - lots of colour and fun designs. Most importantly, we celebrated each other’s uniqueness!

This week, Year 4 students at our school took to the stage to present their fantastic production, Pirates vs Mermaids. The children did an amazing job in bringing this lively show to life, filling the hall with adventure, song, and a dash of humour!
