BSB Sanlitun Year 6 students live on CNN globally!

As part of their special 2023 Call to Earth Day coverage, CNN reported live from BSB Sanlitun where they spoke to our Year 6 students about how they’re taking action into their own hands on promoting sustainability and conservation in Beijing and beyond.

This year’s theme of "Our Shared Home" saw BSB Sanlitun students discussing their knowledge and ideas on how to bridge the gap between humans and wildlife through the building of green corridors in urban settings, considering risk reduction by modeling flood prevention options, and thinking ahead by using AI to design sustainable cities of the future.

We had lots of fun on this special day and we loved seeing everyone’s different socks - lots of colour and fun designs. Most importantly, we celebrated each other’s uniqueness!
