International Week – A week we get to celebrate the lovely countries you belong to!
Students were introduced to International Week in their classes all around campus this week. There were many parents who came into class to talk to students about their respective countries and gave an insight introduction to their home countries, through a story book.
Using their active imagination, our little ones drew their country’s flag from scratch. Using crayons and paper and their deep thoughts to contrast the best flag they believe is their own.
Here we see students learning the flag names and which student the country flag belongs to. An inclusive conversation spiraled as the students went on asking and answering questions about theirs and others’ home countries.
On Wednesday there was an International Expo held by our parents. This was a great way to introduce students to their home countries. The students ate, enjoyed, collected beautiful gifts and had an amazing time at the expo.
