Join Our Open Morning
During the morning, the children had the opportunity to participate in an archaeological dig. They were able to excavate artefacts from a specially prepared mock dig site, uncovering ancient treasures and gaining a better understanding of the excavation process. The excitement on their faces was priceless as they unearthed various objects, each one holding a story from the past.
One of the highlights of the morning was the discovery of pages from a secret diary believed to belong to a archaeologist who helped uncover the tomb of Osiris. This unexpected find sparked curiosity and endless discussions amongst the children.
In addition to the archaeological dig, the children had the opportunity to build small 3D pyramids. Alongside their hands-on tasks, the children also learned interesting facts about Ancient Egypt from the resources provided. This interactive learning experience allowed them to develop a deeper understanding of a civilisation that shaped the world we live in today.
