We were proud to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla which took place on Saturday 6th May at Westminster Abbey, London. King Charles III is the 40th reigning monarch crowned in The Abbey since 1066.
We had an exciting day on Friday 5th May at our Coronation Celebration, which we hope will create some lasting memories for the children and give them a glimpse of our British heritage and traditions.
Our School Choir gave two beautiful performances to our KS1 and KS2 families.
Thank you to Mr Alistair Warwick-Nelson, who gave a lovely English Afternoon Tea workshop to some of our parents.
Students from our Upper Primary also organised a House Bake Sale, which turned out to be a huge success - a total amount of 120175.5 RMB was raised and will be split evenly between our four school charities.
The Coronation, which was a truly spectacular event, had been broadcasted widely across the world. We hope that as many of our students as possible had been able to watch this historic event, which will give even greater meaning and context to our Coronation Celebration activities.
