The Nursery children have been 'Going on a Bear Hunt' this week!
Our outside play area was transformed into the natural environments of the story. The children took off their shoes and socks and rolled up their trousers in anticipation for their sensory walk.
They started on the 'swishy swashy' grass before braving the deep cold river. Mud was the sensory highlight before the children 'tiptoed' through the forest. We almost lost them in the 'swirling whirling' snowstorm! They all made it through safely, bravely and made their way through the cave!

The Nursery children all agree that we are, most definitely, going on a bear hunt again!
