The children have been space travelling this week, getting in their rockets and flying around our solar system in search of answers. Our inquisitive Reception astronauts have been learning all about our planet and those around us through space stories, songs, activities and games.
It has been a truly exploratory theme which has engaged and inspired our children over the past three weeks. As part of our STEAM in Early Years, the children were also invited to partake in an at home Space Challenge in which they had to create their own amazing space crafts, using recycled materials.
The children especially loved showing off their creations to their class. We definitely have a few engineers among us!
