Celebrating Chinese New Year

We have had another fun week in Nursery celebrating Chinese New Year in Early Years. The children have been putting their fine motor skills to good use making lots of different art and crafts related to the Year of the Rabbit and Chinese traditions.

This week the Nursery children have also had a go at making dumplings. It was a bit difficult but fun to try! We have also made drums, practised Chinese calligraphy and danced with a big dragon!

This week is Anti-Bullying Week at BSB Sanlitun. As part of the week our students undertook a number of activities in class, one of the events this week is Odd Socks Day! We had lots of fun on this special day and we loved seeing everyone’s different socks - lots of colour and fun designs. Most importantly, we celebrated each other’s uniqueness!

An Epic Battle – Year 4’s Pirates vs Mermaids production

This week, Year 4 students at our school took to the stage to present their fantastic production, Pirates vs Mermaids. The children did an amazing job in bringing this lively show to life, filling the hall with adventure, song, and a dash of humour!
