What does it mean to be a collaborator? Pandas in Year 2 have had an amazing journey finding out on their own. At the beginning of the year, some were new, others were brand new. It was the perfect combination so that they as a class could meet new people and new friends. Since the beginning of the term, Pandas class have been working hard to follow the correct path to become team players.
These past two weeks have been a very good example of how we as a class could put our team-player skills to the test. Last week during Performing Arts class, Pandas demonstrated to be able to work in groups and push towards the same goal, working in unison was something impressive to witness.
These weeks, the children have had the opportunity to participate in all kinds of activities, from learning how to do a dragon dance working as a group to learning new skills playing football in groups of four. The various activities they’ve tried in the past days have let them understand how we can benefit ourselves working in teams, also how they can build their sense of reliability, understanding of team objectives and how to support other people on their team.
Pandas still have a lot to learn, practising new objectives every day, interacting positively with others as well as the class teachers can help to continue to develop their skills and personality.
