Pirate Day in Year 1

Year 1 have taken a trip to Pirate School and what a day they had! 

Our school day started with lessons in walking the plank and counting treasure! For our lessons in map skills, the children enjoyed a challenging treasure hunt and could follow the instructions all the way to the hidden treasure. Our lucky pirates had a fantastic time showcasing their pirate attire to their friends during out parade and had the chance to show their pirate moves at our very own pirate dance class. Our year 1 children are now fully qualified Pirates!
