Join Our Open Morning
Year 4 have enjoyed their trip week this week. It was a week jam-packed full of so many different activities.
One of the days was culinary school. They created their own chocolates, cookies and fruit salads. Collaboration and step-by-step skills were necessary over the day in order to turn raw ingredients to delicious master pieces.
The children had the chance to ask a trained chef about the different foods they were preparing and so they learnt about fermentation of milk and the different ways of mixing and preparing chocolate.
There are definitely some future chefs amongst the Year 4 cohort!
