Recently at BSB Sanlitun the Year 3 and Year 4 children have been playing some spectacular handball. They started by learning all the important passes need to play handball. A chest pass, bounce pass and the favourite… the overhead pass. We love playing games and passing in a competitive setting too as it helps to develops agility of hands and feet with sudden changes of pace and direction required.
We have now started to practice shooting. The children love running up to the goal and making an explosive jump shot. It is so exciting to see how powerful their throwing has become.
All of these practice will get us ready for our Handball Tournament that’s fast approaching in January 2020. We look forward to putting our new skills to the test!
