This week in Pre-Nursery we have been continuing our topic; “The People Who Help Us!”.
We have enjoyed an array of activities including baking chocolate brownies for our special Pre-Nursery appreciation day, where we taught the children how to be thankful to the people who help us in school.
We learned new vocabulary surrounding the topic of cooking and how to measure out the ingredients, we learned how to pour and mix and the children each had the opportunity to enjoy a chocolate brownie.
As part of our STEAM challenge this term, the children in Pre-nursery learned all about disabilities. They were given the opportunity to participate in an activity where they had to feel what it would be like to be blind, not be able to walk, or not have the use of their hands.
The children showed a lot of curiosity throughout the circle time sessions asking lots of questions and they were all very brave to give the different activities a go. Well done Pre- Nursery.
