Over the last couple of weeks Year 3 have been making their own Egyptian Death Masks. They found out that these were used in the mummification process after the Ancient Egyptians had died and the type of material they were made from reflected their wealth. To make the masks, they first used paper mache to create the mask shape before choosing appropriate colours to paint. They had a lot of fun!
