As our topic ‘Africa’ comes to an end, we wanted to celebrate everything we’ve learnt by having a special day dedicated to just African activities.

We had a special guest, one of our parents, Mr Gwassa come to talk to us from the Tanzanian Embassy. He brought some amazing artefacts with him and he taught us all about them.
After that, we had four activities to do throughout the day. We did some African dancing, African jewellery making, South African fruit salad making and some Tinga Tinga Art.
The children had a wonderful day and they really enjoyed having a special picnic outside in the gorgeous sunshine.
