This week in particular, they looked closely at Winter and had a bit of fun with it as they created snow and white berry ice pops! For snow we used two simple ingredients: baking soda and shaving cream. For the ice pops we followed the instructions step by step as we warmed honey with milk, added in the berries, and froze the mixture in ice pop molds.
Perhaps you can have a go at making snow at home with your child! Year 1 would highly recommend that as they enjoyed playing with it too.
